One of Paul Gallegos' passions is surfing and as a surfer you're sometimes at the right place at the right time and then having the patience to capture such a photo is a gift.

One of Paul Gallegos’ passions is surfing and as a surfer you are often one with nature. On this day, he just happened to be at the right place at the right time to snap this great photo of the two acrobatic dolphins.

Paul Gallegos, photographer extraordinaire, Imperial Beach, San Diego, CA

At the time of this photo, Paul Gallegos and the osprey shown were good friends.

At the time of this photo, surfer/photographer/high school teacher Paul Gallegos was often a playmate of this magnificent osprey. An osprey is a fish eating hawk.

Since he first began taking photos, Paul Gallegos has traveled the globe capturing those unique moments in time not only from nature and the animal kingdom but from the more striking, expressive world of professional boxing. His photos range from the sensitive to the most gut wrenching.

In this current collection you’ll find photos of some of the legends of boxing from a very young Manny Pacquiao to a seasoned veteran like James Tony. Not that we’re any great judge of photographic subject matter but ahead you’re going to see our preferences in a countdown of the top 25 photos which we were provided.

We can’t thank Paul enough for his willingness to share these captivating photos.
