HeaderYou talk about a memorable, ideal setting for your first professional fight, how about on the beach in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico, this Saturday, August 10, 2013, starting at 3 p.m.

That’s where San Diego’s Emmanuel Diaz is set to showcase his boxing talents. He’s just one of the many local boxers that will be performing for the expected, packed house at this most popular Sports Bar, slash, landmark night club, Papas & Beer located on the beach in Rosarito. The show is being presented by Gonzalez Promotions of Tijuana in association with Quinones Promotions of San Diego.

The 22 year-old Diaz, who for years spanked everyone in the USA Amateur ranks to collect numerous titles plus a room full of plaques and trophies, is now setting his sights on the professional ranks. He’ll be facing fellow lightweight Mario Diaz, no relation.
