Sindy Amador of nearby Perris, CA is already to ambush Jolene Blackshear, the unwelcome guest arriving from San Diego, CA.

After this afternoon’s successful weigh-ins at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA, the two San Diego fighters are all set to showcase their wares tomorrow night in front of an expected packed house.

First we have 43 year-old Jolene Blackshear (7-3-0, 3 KOs) from the Cital Boxing and Nutrition Group in San Diego in the Co-Main Event taking on 30 year-old Sindy Amador (10-0-0, 1 KO) of Perris, CA for the vacant interim WIBA Women’s International Boxing Association light flyweight title.

According to the latest rankings, Amador is ranked #3 in the U. S. and #12 in the world, while Blackshear is ranked #1 in the U. S. and #9 in the world.

On the undercard, they’ve included another San Diegan, super bantamweight Jorge “Tito” Ruiz (3-0-0, 2 KOs) from the Alliance Fitness & Training Center in Chula Vista taking on Alex Reyes (0-2) of Houston, Texas. When you are a hot prospect, your first 10 bouts are critical as the powers to be keep auditioning you for a spot on their roster, a contract with one of the top 10 promoters.
