The Press Conference for the final Mayen Promotions in association with Zanfer Promotions Boxing Show of 2012 on Wednesday evening at Las Pulgas, took place Monday at Billar El Perro Salado, “the Salty Dog Pool Hall” (Sports Bar) in Tijuana.

It might be strange to hear someone brag that his or her pool hall is also a great sports bar, but that’s what the regulars at El Perro Salado boast. From the street, it doesn’t look inviting. But after you enter the premises, you’re quickly blown away as you walk about gawking at all the sports collectibles. The Salty Dog possesses an aura of authenticity that can’t be duplicated. Your head swivels about at each new curiosity, the really long bar, the many top of the line pool tables, fun artifacts and memorabilia which includes a Championship Belt, signed gloves and trunks, photos and paintings of the sporting greats.

As, has been the case, Tijuana’s top promoter is planning to wow the local fans with another exciting fight card. If we combine the wins and losses of the headliners, Betillo Gutierrez, Ramses Agaton, Kenia Enriquez, San Diego’s Brandon Adams and Bolivita Uzcategui, we get 70 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws, with 44 KOs. With those credentials it’s doubtful we’ll be seeing any slip ups.

The all important match-ups for Wednesday include:
