On May 13, the WCK announced they had added three additional female bouts to the card which include another three title fights. At this point they have the WBC World Champion Tiana Caverly of Australia defending her title against Jemyma Betrian of The Netherlands. Then it’s San Diego’s own Tiffany Van Soest going for a World Title against Scotland’s Hilary Mack followed by MMA veteran 25 year-old, 5’ 6” Lena Ovchynnikova (8-2 in MMA) from Lviv, Lviv, Ukraine, a super bantamweight taking on 5’3” Emily Bearden (20-8, 1 KO) a two-time WKA Muay Thai Bantamweight World Champ, WKA U. S. Muay Thai Champion, Silver Medal (Muay Thai) and Bronze Medal (Kickboxing) at the 2006 WKA World Championships. She hales from Five Points Fitness a gym on Canal Street in New York City where she works as a trainer.

Since this will be Ovchynnikova’s second Muay Thai fight, we’re still checking to see how she did on May 6, 2012 in Delhi, India where she was scheduled to fight in this Super Fight League III show against Joan Kaldervud of Scotland.

So, there you have it, a once in a lifetime opportunity to see so many great female fighters with no less than four championship belts on the line. The WCK Muay Thai “Champion of Champions” show on August 18 promises to be a memorable event. Tickets are available at the casino box office or call the WCK ticket hotline at (877) 446-7962.
