    Jim,

Thanks for the informative article and the good job you do covering the San Diego boxing scene.

We’d also like to thank Bobby DePhillippis of Bobby D. Presents, along with Jorge Marron and Gabriel Barron for their outstanding efforts to showcase San Diego boxers. Bobby has been putting on boxing shows in San Diego for over 30 years and if it wasn’t for him there would rarely, if ever, be professional boxing in San Diego.

Gabriel does a great job helping Bobby coordinate the shows and attends to the details that ensure the fans will have an enjoyable experience.

Jorge is one of the best matchmakers in the business. Most people don’t understand how difficult matchmaking is but Jorge always seems to put together an exciting card.

San Diego boxing fans are lucky to have you, Bobby, and Jorge.

    Lou Messina and Gino Mazzanti
