I was at the Ward-Sanchez fight and that shot to the liver was one of the most crippling body punches I have ever seen. I am originally from MA and sparred Micky a couple of times early in his career in the mid-80s; even in a controlled sparring match his body shots were devastating. He was going easy on me because I was just a white collar boxer and 10 years older than he was — his idea of going easy left me hurting for days:)
